School Events

  • The school conducts every year Mother’s Day to commemorate in the memory of Late Smt.Tara Devi Dhoka on 20th of November with a lot of pomp and dignity. In this connection Inter School Cultural Competitions are also held. Independence Day, Hyderabad Karnataka Liberation Day, Gandhi Jayanthi, Karnataka Rajyotsava Day, the Republic Day are celebrated with a fervor piety.

  • After every Summative Assessment there will be an Open day when the parents can meet the teaching staff and discuss the progress of their wards. Every year school undertakes one day picnic for classes from LKG to STD-V, other classes are taken for an excursion, maximum of 3 days.
  • Independence Day Celebration - 15th August 2025

  • Sri Puranmal Shrenikraj Dhoka Jain School celebrated the 79th Independence Day with flag hoisting, patriotic songs, and cultural performances. Students pledged to uphold the values of unity, freedom, and responsibility towards the nation.
  • KalaKhoj – August 2025
  • The academic term concluded with KalaKhoj 2025, the inter- house cultural and literary fest. Students from Classes 1 to 10 participated in a variety of competitions such as singing, recitation, drawing, fancy dress, and memory games. The event was a lively showcase of creativity, confidence, and sportsmanship, leaving lasting memories for all.
  • Traditional Day Celebration – 19th July 2025
  • A second Traditional Day Celebration was observed on 19th July with the same zeal and excitement. Students and staff dressed in vibrant attire representing India’s cultural richness. The day encouraged respect for traditions and provided a platform for celebrating the beauty of diversity.
  • Dental Camp – Healthy Smiles, Healthy Lives
  • The school hosted a Dental Camp to promote oral hygiene and health awareness. A team of qualified dentists conducted free dental check-ups and educated students on proper brushing techniques. Interactive sessions encouraged students to adopt healthy habits for bright smiles and stronger lifestyles.
  • Mei Vaignanik Hu – I Am a Scientist
  • The event “Mei Vaignanik Hu” provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity and scientific curiosity. From fascinating experiments to innovative working models, students presented their ideas with clarity and confidence. Classrooms turned into buzzing laboratories, celebrating the spirit of innovation and discovery.
  • Planetarium Show – A Journey Beyond the Stars
  • An exciting Planetarium Show was organized for students of Classes 1 to 10, offering them an immersive journey into the universe.

    Grade 1: Explored planets through colourful visuals and moral stories.

    Grades 3–5: Travelled across the solar system with fascinating facts.

    Grades 6–10: Delved into black holes, solar mysteries, and volcanic eruptions. The experience combined vivid visuals, engaging narration, and scientific insights, inspiring curiosity about the wonders of space.

  • International Yoga Day – 18th to 20th June 2025
  • The school celebrated International Yoga Day over three days in the Yoga Room.

    18th June: Classes 1–3

    19th June: Classes 4–7

    20th June: Classes 8–10 Students practiced yoga asanas, breathing exercises, and mindfulness under the guidance of instructors. The sessions highlighted the importance of yoga for health, focus, and inner peace, leaving students refreshed and energized.

  • DEAR Programme (Drop Everything And Read) – 26th to 28th June 2025
  • To nurture the habit of regular reading, the school organized the DEAR Programme from 26th to 28th June 2025. Each day, from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM, students and teachers paused their routine activities and engaged in silent reading. The peaceful and focused atmosphere encouraged students to enjoy books of their choice. The programme was a meaningful initiative to inspire a lifelong love for reading.
  • Traditional Day Celebration – 28th June 2025
  • Sri Puranmal Shrenikraj Dhoka Jain School celebrated Traditional Day with enthusiasm and cultural pride. Students and staff came dressed in colourful ethnic attire, reflecting the rich diversity of India. Though no stage programmes were organized, the day was filled with joy, pride, and meaningful conversations about Indian heritage. It was a simple yet memorable celebration of unity in diversity.
